I would like to thank Andrew (and Nicole and team) for the course and the day. I certainly had a good time, and worked pretty hard and it paid off with a result I am happy with. I lost my compass at 1A and (massive thanks to the guy whose name I forget that found it) spent about 5 minutes searching. I wish I hadnt now, knowing how quick it was found, and that 5 minutes would have netted me at least another 5 points. Also, looks like a few locals will be attending the next AROC Sport event at Nelson Bay. |

Surprising what can be done with a small map. Good route choices and not too hilly (except for the gut buster to 3E from the north - did anyone ride up this hill? ) Added bonuses of no trail bikes or 4WD ruts and nice shady tracks. Suprising.(For the record scored two more points than credited. It pays to check your score on the day - I didn't.) |

I rode from 1K down the (steep) hill and walked up (past, doh!) 3E and it sure was steep. I would have been better to come from 2H instead, but didnt think of that at the time! |
