Also Ran | Posted: 8 June 2009, 9:32 PM [NZ Time] It would be really good if the results and splits could be posted as htm files, just like they come out of SportIdent, instead of PDFs of text files. |
leepback | Posted: 9 June 2009, 12:36 AM [NZ Time] We will try and get results/splits up tomorrow hopefully in html but we have all crashed and burned today.
|
footprints | Posted: 9 June 2009, 2:27 PM [NZ Time] maps and photos for Days 1, 2 & 3 are all available at the site listed above. RouteGadget will be up as soon as possible, with a link through the Newcastle club web-site.
If you have event photos you would like posted please contact me (email address: newo49(at)gmail.com ). Please don't send photos until you have discussed it with me as I usually only have a dial-up connection, and any big files are likely to be be treated like Nigerian spam, never to be seen again. |
trudger | Posted: 9 June 2009, 9:35 PM [NZ Time] nice selection of photos footprints; thanks for the insight and memories your efforts bring... |
footprints | Posted: 10 June 2009, 2:14 AM [NZ Time] Route Gadget is available for all 3 days -

NMFC | Posted: 10 June 2009, 10:22 PM [NZ Time] Great weekend of orienteering, on some of my FAV maps. thx
Is it possible to have the splits in courses aswell as classes |
footprints | Posted: 10 June 2009, 11:48 PM [NZ Time] Which set of splits do you particularly want NMFC - the extremely fast Day 1, the moderately fast Day 2, or the less fast Day 3? |
footprints | Posted: 11 June 2009, 12:49 PM [NZ Time] NMFC, the Splitalyzer option on the event menu for RG (use the link above) gives you the split analysis graphically (by course, with several options) as well as displaying a table of results - even more hours of analysis and comparison if you want. |
trudger | Posted: 12 June 2009, 5:37 PM [NZ Time] wow, I think that's the first youtube I've ever watched (normally I don't bother as my download speed is so slow). Can someone please tell me how to save it to hard drive ? |
leepback | Posted: 12 June 2009, 6:39 PM [NZ Time] There are some programs that can capture youtube (is this referred to as streaming video?)
BTW there is now a second video on Vimeo (which can be downloaded)
http://www.vimeo.com/5110578
Nobody has watched it yet so you could be the first! |
trudger | Posted: 12 June 2009, 10:09 PM [NZ Time] yeah probably the reason no-one has viewed it is because it is listed as a private video and I'm not allowed to watch it. I did reluctantly join the sponsor organisation but alas no luck getting around the privacy feature |
leepback | Posted: 13 June 2009, 10:11 AM [NZ Time] Sorry - try it now. (WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY ELSE TELL ME THIS???)
Unfortunately it defaults to private but as owner it just plays for me and I had no idea it was set as such.
