Message soory I couldn't be there so I ran a self-organised street event in Beijing instead - came first without any pressure. Since then I have had a dose of sorethroat & coughing - must have been something I ran through; I have doubts about any long distance event at the Olympics. Carolyn & I felt the earthquake in Sichuan last Monday, as we were in Chengdu about 100km from the epicentre. No adverse affects for us other than a change in itinerary, but that was a very small inconvenience in a major catastrophe.
