Hi All,

A bit late in getting my times and in, but here goes...
Map [2:10]
S-1 [4:30] Legs didn't wnt to work, off main track slightly north of control & had to duck back (like most others by the look of it)
1-2 [4:18] Climbed above gully heads, out to powerline clearing/track, through east edge of cutting, off track junction
2-3 [3:18] Through green, off track 150m before control, but then dropped too much
3-4 [1:42] Climbed too much to watercourse head NW of control then had to drop down
4-5 [1:19] Contour climbed, then dropped across NW to control
5-6 [4:52] Contoured west, minor track to clearing, cross country dropping towards gully, climbed through green (not low enough!)
6-7 [2:19] Followed compass bearing, found minor track/cleared area, then carefully into control
7-8 [6:07] Climbed above rock, minor track north, crossed cutting at major track near western reservior, stayed in this track until through patchy green, dropped into gully until rock line
8-9 [2:09] Climbed out, contoured, but went around green losing a little time
9-10 [2:34] Contoured straight, went around (north of) green in gully, then dropped and contoured around to control
10-11 [3:50] Climbed ut at an angle, over-corrected direction and bounced off green, crossed main weatercourse, then (unnecessarily) slowly across to control
11-12 [4:31] Contoured, crossed motorbike track, missed break in creek & hit major marsh, backtracked then waded across creek
12-13 [4:07] Getting very weary, sort of straight, bent around minor watercourse/man-made ditch, through green east of control, then slowly into gully
13-14 [2:54] Cross country to angled track, came off at minor motor bike track, but then unnecessarily went arounf small blob of green, mistaking it for the large blob of green!
14-15 [1:37] Compass bearing, but bounced off green in gully below control
15-16 [1:22] Contoured, then climbed into control
16-17 [1:23] Headed ESE across watercourses, then S through motorbike tracks & luckily straight into control
17-18 [1:11] Downhill on compass, hit motorbike track U-bend, along minor creek into control
18-Finish [0:47] Straight (through green!)
Total Time = 57:01

That is almost as good as I manage, but was a bit wobbly on 3+4+11+12. Couldn't have found anything like enough to catch Glenn & Bjorn.

I thought there was still plenty of route choice. Perhaps leaving out 9 may have improved this even more.
